• FIRESIDE CHAT: Dr. Nicola Fox, Associate Administrator, Science Mission Directorate, NASA
  
  As the Associate Administrator (AA) for the Science Mission Directorate, Dr. Nicola Fox directs ~100 NASA missions to explore the secrets of the universe–missions that use the view from space to assess questions as practical as hurricane formation, as enticing as the prospect of lunar resources, as amazing as behavior in weightlessness, and as profound as the origin of the universe.
  

• Prof. Joseph Harrington, Interim Associate Vice President for Research and Scholarship, University of Central Florida
  
  Prof. Harrington’s research interests include planetary and exoplanetary atmospheres. He leads the Spitzer Exoplanet Target of Opportunity Program, which measured eclipses and transits of new exoplanets with the Spitzer Space Telescope.

  Jim Green is a scientist and senior advisor in the Office of the Chief Scientist. Prior to this appointment, he had been NASA’s Chief Scientist and was the longest serving director of the Planetary Science Division with the overall programmatic responsibility for the New Horizons spacecraft flyby of Pluto, the Juno spacecraft to Jupiter, and the landing of the Curiosity rover on Mars, just to name a few.

• Keynote Speaker: Chris Ferguson, Former NASA & Boeing Astronaut
  Chris Ferguson is a retired NASA astronaut and former U.S. Navy captain. He flew on three Space Shuttle missions, including STS-115 as a pilot in 2006, and STS-126 as commander in 2008. Ferguson is most famous for commanding STS-135 in 2011, which was the final mission of NASA’s Space Shuttle program. After retiring from NASA, Ferguson joined Boeing as the director of Crew and Mission Operations for the company’s Commercial Crew Program, working on the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft.
