If you are looking for help on how to sign in to your NSS members account here on INSIDE.NSS.ORG, you have come to the right place.

Know that the process outlined here will only work if you are a current or recently expired NSS member.

All publicly accessible web pages on INSIDE.NSS.ORG have two ways for members to sign in to their INSIDE.NSS.ORG account.

The first way is to enter your username and password in the blue sign in box that appears on each web page.

The second way is to click on the Sign In link that appears at the very top of every page in the light blue menu bar. Clicking this link will take you to a dedicated sign in page. The sign in page is shown in Figure 1 below.

If you have forgotten your password (or your username), click on the link Click here to reset your password which is found to the left of the large red arrow shown in Figure 1 above.

After you have clicked on the Click here to reset your password link, you will be taken to the webpage titled Forgot your Username or Password? shown in Figure 2 below.

In the box provided, you must enter either your username or the email address that is attached to your NSS member account. If you have forgotten your username, then use the email address you gave when you joined NSS. And be sure to check the I'm not a robot box.

Now click on the Reset Password button.

You should now see the page that is shown in Figure 3 below.

While the page title is the same, you will now see a confirmation message indicating that an email has been sent to your email account.

Please note that if the email address you submitted is not the email address that is on file for your NSS membership, you will not receive any password reset email. This is a system security feature. If you do not receive a password reset email within 15 minutes, use the Contact Us form to report the problem. Please note that NSS office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time so it may be some time before you are contacted for problem resolution.

If the email address you provided matches the email address on file for your account, you will receive the email shown in Figure 4 within perhaps 15 minutes of having submitted your request.

Simply click on the Reset My Password Now link in the email. This link is only good for 24 hours so do not delay in clicking the link

Clicking the Reset My Password Now link will launch a browser session that loads the page shown in Figure 5 below.

At this point you will need to enter your new password following the rules listed on the page. You will also need to enter your password in the Confirm Password box.

Once you have entered your new password in both boxes, click the Reset Password button.

You should now see an updated version of the Resetting Your Password page, shown in Figure 6 below, that contains a Your password was reset! message.

You will also see your username. This is the username that you must use to sign in to INSIDE.NSS.ORG.

Congratulations. You have completed the password reset process. You should sign in right away to make sure that everything is working properly.

If you are still having problems, please repeat the process at least once to make sure that there really is a problem. If you are still having problems, then use the Contact Us form to report the exact nature of the problem.
